During the quoting process you may give us information including: personal information (your name and address) phone numbers, driver information, accident/violation history, house location, current insurance information, and personal property information, among other information.

If you give us your email address, Tomco Insurance Agency, Inc. may use it from time to time to notify you of special offers.  If you do not wish to be contacted by email, you may unsubscribe by following the instructions at the bottom of any Tomco Insurance Agency, Inc. email you receive.

  1. What We Do With the Information We Collect

When you provide us with information, we use that information to determine whether or not to extend insurance coverage, and at what rate.  Our sales representatives do not have access to your credit information.  Our inquiry will not affect your credit score or credit rating.  If you are a resident of certain states (Arizona, California, Connecticut, Georgia, Illinois, Maine, Minnesota, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, North Carolina, Oregon or Virginia) you have the right to view and correct personal information we have collected.  Upon your request we will provide you with a notice of how those rights may be exercised.  If you are a resident of a state not listed above, we will take reasonable steps to verify the accuracy of the personal information in our records.

  1. What We Disclose

We may share information with persons or organizations that need this information to perform a business, professional, or legal function for us.  This includes businesses that assist us with administrative functions.  All of these entities are obligated to keep the provided information confidential and use the information only for the purpose for which the information was provided.  We may share the information provided if ordered by a subpoena, search warrant, or other court order.

We only allow access to your information to our employees who we have determined need it to provide products or services to you.  Our employees are carefully trained to safeguard information. We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect your information from unauthorized access.
